Field trip at HAL

After a long anticipation, we got to know that our class was going to HAL for our annual field trip! We had a great experience at HAL. On the day of the trip, we hopped on the school bus and reached in sometime after a bit of an adventure with bus number 16 breaking down along the way. Right at the entrance, we saw a small model of GSLV Mach1, India's premier launch vehicle.

There was a kind of a museum which had a timeline of HAL with mini models of some Indian Air Force planes. We had gone there for a reason that was: How the world works. We got to know how the radars catch signals of planes. We also got to know how the planes work. They work on engines: some planes have supersonic jet engines and some have normal engines. There were many LCAs which means Light Combat Aircraft. India's only indigenous supersonic aircraft is Tejas.

It has 2 versions 1 is the Air Force model and 1 is the Navy model. We saw the Air Force model in HAL. There were many types of planes: Gliders, Fighters and Bombers.

We got a lot to learn. I thank my school and teachers for giving us the opportunity.
I  couldn't have written it without my dearest friends and teachers
