Preface

Route#18 is my school bus. This story is about two if its adventures en route school: The Flat Tyre and The Different Route. The story takes us through the twists and turns of these adventures and is a good read for those who are not in Route#18.

Chapter 1 - The Flat Tyre


One bright and sunny morning, we the acorns of Silver Oaks were happily on our way to an exciting day at school. About two kilometers from school, the bus came to a screeching halt. Surprised, as it was not a regular stop, we all asked Aiyamma about what happened. "Flat Tyre!", she said. We all slowly got down and awaited the arrival of another bus. The bus came in about five minutes, while we waited patiently near Shell Petrol pump and discussed the potential causes of the puncture. We reached school just in time to hear the bell ring!


Chapter 2 - The Different Route


On 21st June, the Yoga Day, we were on our way to school. As we approached the flyover, to our surprise, the driver uncle made a u-turn! We all through that we were on our way back to home! The bus then took a left turn and went on an on until it took another left turn! The bus was back on its regular way to school, but not before we crossed a railway crossing. We reached in time to watch our school mates perform the last pose of the day! Though we got late, it was surely a lot of fun with our adventure on Route#18.
